How do credit repair companies simply remove derogatory marks? Is this secret information?
They dispute them but sometimes they don't use kosher means.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Does it make sense that my credit score dropped around 30 points because I just finished paying off my lease?

I am an AU on account with a high credit utilization ratio. Is there a way to not have it reported to credit agencies? Will removing me as an AU stop the negative impact on my credit score?

Two credit cards with balances of 20% of the credit limit, but one has double the credit limit and double the balance. Will paying down one over the other first improve your credit score more quickly? or is it best to pay them both down at the same rate (X% of respective cards balance)?

My brother applied for the chash ink cash says that he's showing five credit checks and that his credit dropped 76 points

Credit checks? What service is he using for his score? Is it a FICO score?

In chase credit tracker thing.  His card application is pending, but why would it drop 76 points?

I don't use Chase tracking, but it sounds like a FAKO score which is useless.
Can get a free FICO score here and no CC needed.

If being an AU is pulling your score down, does having the Primary remove you improve your score? Or do you remain linked to that account?

Yes. The account should be automatically removed from the AU CR but you might have to dispute it off

how can I check if it’s been removed? Any of the CC credit score services show that in addition to actual score?

Not sure but no reason not to get the real CR for free. If it's on any of them, make an account online and dispute it

Can I request open/active AU accounts be removed from my credit report (i.e. the primary card owner still has the card and I am still an AU)? Or is it only closed accounts that are eligible to be removed.

“Pay your account balance off, besides for a buck or 2, the day before your statement closes. This will greatly increase your credit score.”

I have seen conflicting info on this. Do you need to do this for every card, just one, or just one from each bank? Also, is $2 enough or does it need to hit 1 PERCENT? Thanks.

the closing statement balance is what gets reported to the bureaus so each card you do this for your overall utilization rate will go down.

One card and $2 will work.
