Don't care what was behind it. If they framed him it's one thing, but there is pretty clear evidence of individuals blocking the street while being told not to, as well as acting in a way that can be defined as "assaulting a police officer." I don't know who was arrested, but if it was one of those individuals, it's fully deserved regardless of who they are.
Not saying the individual is right, but the cop definitely did not act in professional manner
