Where can I get the set of Mendy and The Golem comics?

It was a comic that was published during the 1980’s. I see it on Amazon and eBay for outrageous prices. Any ideas where this can be purchased, even used, at a reasonable price? Tried messaging the publishers but never got a response.

Don't own it, but seen it in store. Contains vol 1 and 2. I assume they're planning on reprinting the rest.

I remember there being a book for elementary-age readers in which a character
plays a Mendy & The Golem computer game. Does anyone know this book?
