Author Topic: Wyndham Status Match to Top-Tier Diamond (Read 74750 times)

Currently, the property is owned by Brookfield Asset Management and operated by Brookfield Hospitality. In October 2014, Atlantis, Paradise Island became a member of Marriott International's Autograph Collection Hotels, which includes a marketing partnership with the brand in order for guests to earn or redeem Marriott Rewards at Atlantis.

The TR connection is with the Casino at Atlantis. When you call the number to book your free stay, it is being booked by the Casino division of the resort.

According to the link below, resort fees are waived for Diamonds. Would that apply to this stay as well?

No. There are different levels for Diamond. Matching gets you to the first level

Don't all free night awards work like that officially. Yet there's no problem with putting a second name on the reservation and checking in. I personally did it with the Fairmont free nights even after they told me on the phone specifically that the person must be there to check in. Why would this be different?

Because they actually care about it and won't let you check in if the AH isn't there.

Most people here should be able to status match to the top diamond status.

With diamond status you can match to Total Rewards diamond status and get many perks.

I don't have diamond status on any brand. Just have Gold with starwoods and Marriott and have Platinum Elite with IHG. Anything I can do to get to diamond?

Read DDMS those levels get you diamond with Wyndham

You should all read some of the reviews on Atlantis. I have been Diamond and haven't used it yet.

I think it could be a good opportunity for a family vacation as long as expectations are reasonable (ie: it’s not going to be an RC or PH). Aside from the free nights, the package provides a casino experience pass, which includes a swim with the dolphins (and a bunch of food benefits which probably won’t be of much use to most people here).

Do these nights need to be used consecutively? Or can I get 2 rooms for 2 nights?
