Don't all free night awards work like that officially. Yet there's no problem with putting a second name on the reservation and checking in. I personally did it with the Fairmont free nights even after they told me on the phone specifically that the person must be there to check in. Why would this be different?

i think makes no difference if you gift it or sell it but i might be wrong-
although it would def would be bummer if you travel all the way there and they dont let you check in

To fedeem free night, you have to call to their reservation center (Ocean, Hard Rock) to make a reservation.

My AC casino match tour was in Aug 2018. At that time, with my M life Platinum I got:

Hard Rock: First time they only matched my platinum to Elite, so I only got $50 free play, 1 free night, and one time entry to Fresh Harvest Buffet. After I used them all, I noticed that I should get Rocky Royalty. I went visit wild card services again to explain they put me into wrong level. I was told I only could get matched once and she could not fix anything from the system. A superviser came to us said she could redo the tier match for me. So I got the right status ,Rock Royaly, $100 free play, 2 free nights, one time entry into Fresh Harvest Buffet or Legends Lounge. That was awesome that they did not recall what I had got first time.

Borgata: 2 free nights

Ocean: Black, $150 free play, 3 free nights

Carsars: Diamond, 2 free nights (but only can be redeemed at Bally's AC, Harrah's AC, and Caesars AC)

Ive read in a few places that i can get diamond status with wyndham if i have an AMEX platinum card. Can someone explain how it can be done please? Ive looked in many places and spoke with wyndham support (who said it cant be done with the amex platinum card) TIA

Ok, with your amex plat you can become Marriott/HHilton Gold. Match it to Wyndham (Diamond) and then to Caesars.

Yes, it came out to about $60 per night for the Royal Tower.
