AA or continental?

any opinions on which points to use to fly domestic? continental or AA?

Depends on availability. If you're doing NYC-LAX 23-28AUG, I know AA doesn't have any 12,500 flights on the 28th or the 25k biz class.

the award prices are both the same. AA first class might be cheaper at 32.5k if that's what youre looking for. obviously if you cant get the cheap economy for 12.5 you want the biz class for 25k instead of the higher priced economy for 25k. especially since its a transcon and has real biz class

And why can't you try redeeming CO for UA ps transcon business service for the same rate?

Is biz/first better on AA CO or UA?

i only have 40,000 and 22,000 continental in two accounts thats why im trying to combine through UA. I do have more AA though

i only have 40,000 and 22,000 continental in two accounts thats why im trying to combine through UA. I do have more AA though
Why do you need to combine for that?  Just buy one-way tickets if you need to.

Either way it's rarely worth redeeming miles for domestic tickets.

whoa! im really slow! i didnt even think of that! but to buy tickets now for tue to LA its not worth using points? tickets are about $900

And on JetBlues homepage there's a deal for 165 from boston, though I doubt that'll work with your dates.

i dont fly much - so whatever points i dont use on this vacation i will sell - is it still not worth using points?
