Random DP: A friend and I both got instant approval on the Hilton Aspire card. We clicked to get the card number instantly and got a message that their system isn’t working and we will get a 60 dollar credit instead.

Cool. I don’t remember seeing that when I got approved for it. Probably closed page without checking.

Just pointing out anyone who applies now can get 750 in airline credits, 500 in resorts, and 2 free nights for $450. Besides the SUB.

can i upgrade my hilton card i have now to the aspire and get the 2 times 250 dollar travel credit and in a month downgrade again and get the annual fee back?

Wow. It seems that for anyone over 5/24 looking to get a new card, this one is a straight no-brainer. Why no DDMS post?

I assume 750 and 2 free nights includes keeping the card into year 2 and then cancelling within 30 days? Does anyone have any DP's about clawbacks?

yes. resort credits are also cardmember year.

Right, although I haven't heard of a good way to take advantage of that credit if you're not staying at a resort. (Please share if you have!)

Yes. I've heard that travel charges must post by 12/31, but I'd give it a few days extra as reimbursement can take time to show up after charges post. (Mine took 2 days, but I've heard of longer.)

Did you get a temporary card # or a statement credit?
