if you sign up for the mercedes plat card but want to to sign up for a second one later on that day-with amex is it considered one hard pull if its done on the same day(no matter if its done with 2bm method)?
second card will be mercedes plat, first card was prg gold ameriprize

called amex spoke with CS regarding new prorated rate she started to tell me that it still can be done, like there is no change coming. then when i asked again she said oh ok-and then told me rules but never confirmed when the start date is.

if i apply for the mercedes benz plat card today would anyone be able to tell me approx when i will the last date be to get the refund on the AF?

The AF is usually charged on the statement date, so the answer is 30 days after you're charged the AF, which will depend on when your statement closes. Clear enough?

i think i know this one...but..if i downgrade from lets say plat mercedes to prg gold will that effect the lifetime signup bonus?

With amex you don't receive a bonus on a card you had, regardless if you got the bonus for it. So downgrading to prg would make you ineligible to receive the bonus in the future.

wow-thats stupid bec ususally when you downgrade they dont really offer you a bonus and if they do offer you something its minimal at best.

so i should just make sure to downgrade to a card i already had before.

question-i went back and checked comments on that link and a q was asked if you downgrade does the AF appear instantly dan said NO.

If a person were to downgrade when the 30 days is up lets from a plat merceds to a green card which the fee is only $95 then close that card before fee appears-what will happen? will he still have to pay a fee?

Went today to the dealership in Manhattan, here are some pictures of the selection there. Confirmed that my certificate worked no problem on a cancelled card. They are very overpriced on some items more than others.
