Thanks, time to close my Amex Platinum...

I don't think I'm going to do a 2bm/3bm, as I already have too many Amex cards and I don't want to rock the boat. There aren't too many hot Amex offers (with low spend requirements) around either... (I have no patience for the hassle the matching game has become).

Are you not afraid of them asking 'why did you cancel, reapply, cancel and reapply,' or ' YOU JUST HAD THIS CARD!!'?

OT, is having the Mercedes CC a problem because people might think that you own the car as well?

Anyone apply for it yet? I'll TOFTT if I have to, but I've been the scapegoat enough times already, can't we get someone else to do it for a change.

I just applied today, got the 'well give you a response in 14 days' response. I never had the plat myself, just an AU on someones card.

Who said it's cheap? What people are saying is it is currently the best sign up bonus fro MR at 50K.
