The Amex Mercedes-Benz Plat has been discontinued. All former MP Plat card have been converted into regular Amex Platinums.

The Amex Mercedes-Benz Plat has all the same benefits as the Amex Plat.

Differences:
Annual fee is $495 $475 instead of $450
$100 Worthless gift certificate for in dealership overpriced tchotchkas from Mercedes-Benz
Link (You cannot use the Certificate online)
(Edit from ae123: Overpriced yes, but not worthless....watches, travel mugs, ice bags, caps, etc.)
You can get a $200 reimbursement for some airline spends, once every calender year.
Global Entry $100 Fee Credit - Global Entry is the US government’s expedited immigration program for frequent travelers. It costs $100 and is good for 5 years.

just called amex to expedite my app for MB and rep was saying everything is fine with u app but we have send u a mail today and would like u to read it to us over the phone and I cant tell u what it says on the letter I asked what is it all about and rep said about t&c we had some glitch In the system did anyone had this before??

I applied for MB Plat yesterday and it got stuck in pending review after I called to expedite and they said everything was fine but will take a couple days to finalize processing.

just confirm with a friend he applied today and got the same line u will get a letter he applied again for reg plt and was approved is that means thy are canceling the 50k bonus and don't let apps through??

They didn't mention anything to me about a letter.

Update:
Just called again and they said it was being handled by a special team that needs to verify information with me before they can finalize processing and that I should except a call from them. Nothing about a letter.

BIZ PLT AND BGR
PER PRG AND MB
 and 5 for a friend fifth was after I wasn't able to push MB so I added regular PLT
(non was done on a 4BM had to get the right offers ;))
