The Amex Mercedes-Benz Plat has been discontinued. All former MP Plat card have been converted into regular Amex Platinums.

The Amex Mercedes-Benz Plat has all the same benefits as the Amex Plat.

Differences:
Annual fee is $495 $475 instead of $450
$100 Worthless gift certificate for in dealership overpriced tchotchkas from Mercedes-Benz
Link (You cannot use the Certificate online)
(Edit from ae123: Overpriced yes, but not worthless....watches, travel mugs, ice bags, caps, etc.)
You can get a $200 reimbursement for some airline spends, once every calender year.
Global Entry $100 Fee Credit - Global Entry is the US government’s expedited immigration program for frequent travelers. It costs $100 and is good for 5 years.

No, its just that now there isnt any good offers

This worked for me, Don't all go running though.

I used my MB card to sign up for Amazon Prime, waited a few days, Called Amex said i thought i would get a statement credit (officially only for new cards) and they made an exception for me and refunded it.
Called Amazon and told them i thought Amex would refund me and didn't so please cancel and refund.

Done. ;D

If it stays where it is, then you definitely have a point. But if it takes after Ultimate, then yes, for those that churn to sell -- it may not be worth its while. There are better points as of now.

Somewhere in the range of 1.3 - price dropped along with everything else.  However, depending on how many you have, it might be possible to get more.  Don't count on it though.

Don't know - perhaps he found someone paying more.  There are lots of brokers out there.  I suggest you shop around.  I used to get 1.7 for AA myself not that long ago.
