Anyone know of a link that says the AF gets fully refunded within 60 days of it posting?

A couple of questions.
1) if I cancel my Mercedes Benz card and downgrade to the gold. Will I get a bonus?
2) if I don't downgrade would I have to wait 3 months to apply for the fold in order to get the bonus?
3) do I have to pay my bill in full or can I tell them to credit 475$ to my account so I don't have to pay it in full.

No. I believe the only downgrade bonus is Plat to Green.

That would be a few or several or some, not a couple, but luckily we don't charge by the question 'round here

1 - Ambiguous question, but bonus on Gold, no.
2 - Ambiguous question, but assuming you mean personal Gold, you cannot get bonus if you currently have Plat MB.
3 - You can leave over $475.

Thank you. In regards to question two I meant if I cancel the mb how long will I have to wait to apply for gold and get bonus?

Assuming you haven't had the Gold in the past year, yes, you'd have to wait 90 days.

Does the regular platinum have what to do with the mercedez platinum in regards to bonuses. That if I cancel my mercedez platinum do I need to wait 90 days or 12 months to apply for regular platinum?

it used to be considered a different product but recently was switched so the 12 month rule seemingly should apply

I recently opened MB Plat, met threshold, billing cycle closed, payed balance - including annual fee and they insist on not expediting points untill next cycle (second) closes!
aaarrrrggghhhhh!

Having a business platinum is now considered the same product?
Did they change this too? meaning that i can"t get the bonus on the MB while having the business or personal plat?

You might have 60 days, it seems like they want you to pay the card charge. I think a HUCA might work. I had this card for my wife and they did not give me the bonus, so I called and they gave me all the points.

the reps deny that it is although after a few minutes on the phone I had a full refund given on two cards

I was thinking of opening now before May 1 since i had this card 2 yrs ago but i see at the side of the application this notice
-Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have or have had a Platinum Card® account enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program-
so meaning to say that the new rules are in effect before may 1st pls help with this or what else is there up with a 50k offer??

It seems the new rule is not in effect just yet, it's only in the T&C.
