I did a 2bm w/ PMB and PRG and my points were hel up for a unrelated thing.
When I tried to get them back she said she will submit my accounts to the "executive Office" to see if they are the same product and email me what they say.
I never got an email just A points adjustment of 25001 points!

I'm assuming that means they said its a different product. But YMMV

Back in November, I also got the MB Plat and reg plat as part of a 3BM. Got both bonuses (my first plat cards).

and to answer the MB GC question. When I went to redeem the GC, the sales guy never asked for the MB plat card. Just took the GC and that was that. So at the very least, YMMV.

Hi,

I have tried to get a clear answer from the previous posts in this thread and others but...

After receiving all the benefits of this card - how can I downgrade it to a free AMEX? It is a charge card so it doesn't seem possible.

Therefore the question is if I close the account (b/c I want a refund of the annual fee) will it be a negative mark on my credit report? Do closed charge cards (which don't have credit lines) show up as closed accounts or reduced credit availability?

Looks like the MB Plat has all the benefits like the reg plat ($200/GE/SPG Gold/PP Select) plus the benefits of MB. (correct me if mistaken)

What do I get for the MB? I see on the site that I get a credit $1000 for a new lease, do I get this yearly? Can I use it on a current lease?

You also get a $100 MB GC to use at dealer for accessories .

License plate frame, hats,shirts , t shirts .
Selection varies tremendously dealer to dealer , so go to a good busy one

Get another at anniversary if keeping the card that long .

You can't get into UA Club with MB Plat.

You get into US though.

When applying for new AMEX cards when you are already a cardmember; is it better to answer "yes" to already a cardmember or "no" and answer all of your information again?
