Amex pulled credit report twice !

I applied for the Premier Rewards Gold card back in may and was declined. They said I was declined because there is a negative item on my credit report , I explained that it wasn't mine and that the company said they will remove it. He said once its removed I should fax an updated copy of my credit report , which I did last week after noticing that it was finally removed. However, I see now that they ran another credit report. I wasn't notified of this ? Do they ever run a credit report twice? Should I call them ? I think I was though approved for the card.

You can call and they might have it removed. I would expect them to pull another report after three months.

Amex, you won't get anywhere with EX. Your chances with Amex are slim an none but it can't hurt.

i recently read about a person that took sprint to the Small claims court, claiming they pulled his credit twice, and the judge issued in his favor that they should pay him $4000 for that.
