Yet people shop at Costco.

Bingo is differentiating themselves as a wholesale club. Not another grocery or supermarket.
Correct. But from what I understand, they aren't just looking to attract the frum Costco clientele. They are looking to attract the supermarket shoppers too.

Their business model is to offer best price, with no extras. Another example is that they charge 30 cents a box, while other stores don't charge for boxes.
Ok, but I don't think that most people would consider baggers extra, or boxes either, for that matter. I would consider delivery a bigger "extra" than baggers. It is a major slowdown and inconvenience in my eyes. It's one of the primary reasons I never shop in NPGS. No baggers or extremely slow moving baggers.

Just came back from bingo NJ

why do they think I can read Spanish? they have dove shampoo with Spanish labels >:(,

prices are the same as in BP, which means they meet or beat krm  on most products. (beat KRM on produce of course and beets every local Lakewood grocery)
in these areas they are cheaper then any store I ever checked the pricing, jj mehadrin big Yougurts, paper goods, disposables etc, Juices, juices on average in any grocery is $3+ in bingo its $2+ regular price.

the spices add a live smell to the place.

its a stupid decision not to have baggers, even though they're trying to compare themselves to Costco, the smallest item in Costco is a 2 pack peanut butter, the smallest item inn bingo is a almond yes you can buy a single almond, costco packegaing is in bulk thats why there's no need for baggers vs bingo sells lose fruits vegetables yogurts baggers is a must, having baggers would increase the speed of checkout and increase the customer base it pays itself off (like the Mexican wall)

by checkout this Israeli next to me was pissed off that there're no baggers I told him you know osher aodd its the same company its all yours הכי בבית בעולם, he was mad and said i'm never stepping in this place again ..............

the sales are pretty much similar if not the same as in the BP location

where's the A&B fish >:( iirc in BP they carry A&B

BTW does anyone know why chrain-horseradish doesnt have a seal? I think its the only item without a seal

In Costco they have someone there putting your items in your cart. They don’t have bags as they are selling bulk items which wouldn’t fit in bags. In bingo they have bags just no one to help you.
It would also be a help if they have those water sponges to touch to pull apart the bags easy

well said, NPGS also (usually) doesn't pack the bags for you, but their bags are made from better material you don't need to lick your to separate the bags, those metal pieces that hold the bags are longer so you can fill the bag while its hanging, the cashier helps you once he is done scanning all the items unlike bingo where they sit around while you pack

It’s all for the mind. “We’re too cheap of a store to provide better service “ same as Costco charging to shop by them.. Costco membership is plain and simple a psychological thing. 1- Costco  basically losing money if we don’t charge membership(lol) 2- once I paid my membership fee I better get my money’s worth and shop there consistently.

-2,600,000,000

Membership fees account for 75% of Costco’s earnings.....

It annoys me when ppl complain that other ppl don’t put there carts back. While it’s a nice gesture to put your cart back it’s the stores responsibility to keep the parking lot organized. Ppl parking slanted is just inexcusable, it’s in every parking lot in Lakewood.

No offense but I disagree with you 100%. Its not a "nice gesture" to put your shopping cart back, its basic mentshlickeit. When you use anything no matter where it is, when you're done you put it back . whether you're using a sefer in shul,  reading a book in the library, or using a cart in the store.

I'm not sure that I've ever disagreed with someone on the forums more.
Taking other people's carts back with you when you return yours is a nice gesture.
Putting your own cart back is what non selfish, living in your own egocentric circle, people do.
You can honestly measure a persons character by how their shopping ritual goes.

Ok “nice gesture” was the wrong words.
My point was the slanted parking I find much more offensive.

Also can be difficult to return your cart.

I think you need to reevaluate what difficult means to you
It's also difficult for the next shopper when you don't put it back. Having 3 kids with you is no excuse.
