Good example of how bingo makes money on something they sell with a "loss".
(heard the story from someone working there)
one year before pesach bingo sold suits (short, not long) for $25, when in the heimishe clothing stores like G&G and GB it costs somewhere between $150-$250 for the exact same suit!!
Now the first part of the story:
one of the heimishe clothing stores stayed stuck with a few hundred old short suits and was looking to get rid of it, so they tried contacting all kind of organizations and asked them if they have what to do with it, but no one needed the suits. so they contacted a dumping company to come pick up the suits to be thrown out in garbage and that company charged them about $500 for dumping the suits, but somehow bingo heard of this so they immediately called up the store and told them not to throw it away because they need it... now the store was happy not to spend money on dumping, and bingo was making $25 profit on each suit!!
So in there dictionary the definition for "loss" is "profit"
