umm ok I guess
Can someone please post this weeks sales?
Here
+1. While most supermarket chains do prorate the discount, I don't think it should be expected, unless you know the store policy, or the language of the ad is obvious.
Name one store? - It's a standard practice in every supermarket not to require you to buy the full quantity unless stated otherwise such as must buy 2 or what the price for any other quantity will be... Maybe you never knew that - but to deviate from an industry standard is deceiving. To Bingo's credit I did start noticing prices on some items that contain the price of other quantities.
To call that "deceiving" is a little harsh IMHO.
If all other stores in the industry are more generous that they advertise, that's great! In simple English, "2 for $3" means that if you buy 2, they will charge you $3. Nothing more and nothing less.To call that "deceiving" is a little harsh IMHO.
US industry standard: 2/ $1 = 1/ 50˘ unless otherwise stated. Buy 1 get 1 free= you need to buy both.

TBH, I'm not so familiar with the US industry standards but if they wanted to sell 1 for .50˘, why would they write it in a backwards complicated way 2/$1?
Has anyone alerted David Lichtenstein about these prices?
