Nostalgia was sit down waiter service, not sure why you're comparing it to the other eateries in that area. There's nothing similar.

It was? Had I known I would have gone.

I was waiting for such a style restaraunt, having a waiter without breaking the bank. I honsetly don't care for a $100 steak, but going to Glatt Bite doesn't really count as "going out to eat".

I always thought Lakewood never had, and I guess now it's true. Perhaps it's a...

It wasn’t just the cheap prices and and the oil or even the canteen situation… it was the VIBE!

it was also the fact that it was walking distance to yeshiva back in the day when the food in yeshiva left what to be desired and most bochurim didn't have cars.

I came there at closing, the guy is beyond nice begging me to take food for free, i"ll be back

+100 very pleasant experience with the owner (I think) throwing in a free drink. Delicious food.

there is a reason bun is always packed . when people are paying more for everything its the slightly more expensive places that get hurt most. high end you plan on splurging. low end you are going to go cheaper

This was the cook in Crunchtime - based on the youtube description it seems like he's no longer affiliated with Crunchtime. Though no indication about the status of the restaurant.
