What is the ETA? It’s been coming up for while.

I don't know, but HV posted about it today, and they posted a while ago that it was coming. So I assumed that meant they were opening soon. Have to imagine they are timing it around Chanuka, RC is Sunday......

Have a relative going to Lakewood soon who's a real foody! I don't buy food/eat out often so I haven't been to most places around town. Would love to hear your thoughts on where & what are the "must do's". Flieshig/milchig sides/pastries/drinks and everything in-between

#1 There are no real options in Lakewood for a sit down dinner, where you can feel like you went out, without spending an arm and a leg. This may be that kind of place. #2, there is nowhere else you can go and not feel like you are eating the 17th version of the same dish.

@yawn delayed response here, but I recommend you try Taquito (if you haven't yet) for those exact same two reasons you listed. Unique and delicious food, also in a nice unique brick-wall style shop.
Order and pay at counter with no gratuity added or requested, but waiter brings food to you. Seating downstairs and upstairs and outside if weather is good.

Consider this my Taquito review while we're at it.
My favorite dishes - Burrito Bowl (best proteins imo are carne asada, ribeye, lamb, chipotle chicken, short rib birria), Chicharron Pollo, Tacos, Birria Raman Soup, and Fries. The bowl is the most filling. That "soup" is far more than a soup. Some super spicy dishes too if you like that. Pictures of these dishes (except fries) attached. I'm a big fan.

Not sure it's open yet.  It's a snaps makeover.   Seems like he decided to get in the Israeli bandwagon like ishtabach.  Not sure why that's the new exciting in thing to do.

Bowl is $26, 3 Tacos $21-22, Fries $8, Birria Ramen Soup $15.

Btw, whatever happened with Ice Cream House?
They were supposed to open near there.
Google says permanently closed.
