Um... There are a few levels of Choleh below that level.

If someone has a headache or thinks they have fever, it's not a sofek sakanah. Most poskim hold that they can take their temp with a mercury-style thermometer because it's not yad soledes bo.
Why would you be checking your temperature if you think you have a temperature of 99°?

Very funny!
I use a thermometer that is mutar to use on Shabbos (for a choleh).
The ones I grew up with maxed out at 106 or something. Brings back memories of shaking them down till you accidently dropped it. Best part was the ensuing panic that the smidgen of leaked mercury will obliviate mankind forever.

the thing was very pretty on the surface but the color of a stop sign inside.

Sounds yummy. Raw would be much deeper red.

In theory. Maybe I was just spoiled by the filet mignon from Noi Due the other week.

In all seriousness, How do you insert the termo?

Fine.  :) Just don't want anyone clearly sick thinking they have to borrow some esoteric thermometer and end up being mesukan because of that.

Restaurants have Yoireh Deah Shaalos and Oirech Chaim Shaalos ;)

I don't know about Estreia or Revolve. Entree is normal good food, but I was much more impressed with CharQ.
Much nicer ambiance and better food imo.
A bit pricier too, although not as much as I expected it to be.
When I go back, I'll probably skip the appetizers, as they're mostly pretty small and relatively overpriced.
I got the surprise steak (not sure if it's always available) and thought it was amazing (I actually liked it better than the $165 dry aged steak you can see in the background of my picture).
Charcuterie board good (if you like salty), but very little meat you're getting.

Thanks for the thorough review and pics. Much appreciated! Their menu online doesn't have prices - it's a pet peeve of mine, can't stand when restaurants do that. Don't post a menu, or post the same menu I'll see in  the restaurant. Don't pretend that your only patrons should be those who don't care about price

That is, CharQ doesn't have a menu online with prices

Yep, I wish I'd have taken a pic of the menu (on a side note, someone sent me pics of SALT menu so that was fun to see).
In CharQ, I believe the surprise steak (12 oz) was $72. Some other similar size steaks in the $60's. Don't recall how much the (larger) cowboy steak was.
The dry age steak (forgot what exactly the cut was called) is 30 oz (a lot of that is the bone) at $165 (not worth it imo).

If your looking for something unique, delicious and not too expensive, I strongly recommend checking out D-lux's Meat pizzas. They have a full blown pizza oven that creates an authentic pizza texture which is crispy yet soft, and have a number of options to put on. Pulled Brisket, Rib Eye, Sausage, Korean chicken and pesto chicken just to name a few.

Decided to try it recently, went with the brisket and was really impressed. Went back and tried the pesto chicken which was equally as good.
