It's not a good hechsher. It's good enough to buy black coffee there, though.

Did the food at D-lux change or just their marketing team?

I didn't eat there a lot recently, only once, and the food was different. I think they are trying to make it more upscale. Prices went up as well.

I didn't eat enough to give a positive or negative review.

Char Q

And how would you compare the food and ambiance?

Ambiance - similar
Food - didn’t get a chance to sample enough items on the menu, but what I did try was mostly delicious and they implemented far more unique ingredients compared to Entree.

More unique ingredients? Entree' is a nicer version of very regular food with nicer ambiance. Char-Q has a higher end style menu.

That’s a good way of describing entree food. Char-q is definitely more unique ingredients, now I just remembered I took a picture of the actual menu. Take a look at lamb riblets, includes pickled watermelon rind. Taylor hmm is a bunch of ingredients you’d never see on the entree menu. Most of what we ordered was new flavors and experiences for me.

Looks like they adopted the (local?) minhag of 18% gratuity automatically added to all bills.
