I'm old enough that many of the places that make Chinese either were not around when I came (like Authentic Chinese) or were under a different owner/chef (like D'lux).

There is no good Chinese in Lakewood. There are some places that sell chicken in sauce that can be decently tasting but should not be confused with Chinese.
For good Chinese, you would have to go to Manalapan

Snaps. If you want more of an authentic Chinese as opposed to American Chinese.

Went to Smokey Hill. Good and tasty smoked meat without much creative on the menu. Quick service nice place would go back. More in the league of Entrée than Estreia. Total bill 185 of which about 80 was for a long bone rib. They gave complementary lineage cabernet and Moscato. The sauce for pulled beef and chicken was on the spicy side so that will depend on your taste.

In terms of standard pizza stores, most are pretty decent, though I like Village Pizza South (near where Blue Ribbon used to be), and I used to be very into Pizza Plus (but didn't have it for years, and these things often change).

For gourmet pizza, I like Caffotario and Ottimo, though a one-person pie can cost you between $15 and $23.
