Went to Smokey Hill. Good and tasty smoked meat without much creative on the menu. Quick service nice place would go back. More in the league of Entrée than Estreia. Total bill 185 of which about 80 was for a long bone rib. They gave complementary lineage cabernet and Moscato. The sauce for pulled beef and chicken was on the spicy side so that will depend on your taste.

where is smokey hill?

Where Village Pizza south used to be, before they moved to the other side of their plaza. Near the former Blue Ribbon.

You sure about that? I know Pita Hut and Village Pizza are the same owner, but unless Hillel from Smokey Hill has him as a silent partner, I don't think he's involved.

What’s the average tab at Smokey Hill?

What’s the average tab at Smokey Hill?

Went to Smokey Hill.

Total bill 185 of which about 80 was for a long bone rib.

I had an appetizer and long rib, my wife had a soup and a main. 185 is including gratuity so the rib was half the bill. This means it will vary greatly depending on what you order.

Someone I know just went and spent $270 for two people. They said they expected it to be lower, but they ordered baby back ribs without knowing the price and it was $90.

Wine is complimentary IINM.

I guess they don't have a liquor license, so they can't sell alcohol?

Don't know if/how he's involved, but Sarah Lasry did a review a while ago (it's on smokey hill instagram page) and the owner of pita hut was there with Hillel getting the feedback.

Good and reasonably priced pizza?
Pizza fun on 2nd street. Delicious and reasonable. Has some good jalapeño topped slices if you care for it.

Went to Char-Q last week.
Ambience was great and we really loved every dish.
Thai chili cauliflower App was 10/10
Duck tacos 9.5/10
Surprise streak and rib eye were absolutely flavorful and delicious
Overall we loved every dish we ordered but it was pricey.
We were 4 people, had 4 apps, 3 mains, 3 cocktails and glass of wine, 2 desserts and drinks. Total was almost 600

Yes Smokey hill and village pizza and pita hut are all the same owner…..heard it from the owner himself

Btw pita hut is hands down the best shwarma in Lakewood….if u disagree u lose all your nemunos on food
