best donuts and they make the best scrambled eggs / tuna sandwiches by far you cant get anything like it anywhere else in the world the 3 4 locations so no exuces not to pick some items to go (if you don't make it definitely worth a trip from anywhere in the usa+)

I can't even imagine scrambled eggs or a tuna sandwich being worth a trip anywhere. And yes I've had both from 4 corners.

There must be one in the area. They are probably your best bet. I am not so into that style for but those who are rave about it and people from all over make sure to stop there.
A friend met a random non-Jew an hour and a half south of Lakewood for a DMV appointment and when they heard he was from Lakewood said “I wish I would have known you were coming to save me a trip for Mike’s Chicken!”

Had a total of 8 hours on the ground in NYC with my father, @mom1000, @Rafi and @Talia as I wanted to daven before flying so I didn't need to shlep a lulav.

Stop 1:
Fish Grill: Salmon pasta is hyar as awesome as I remember enjoying in Malibu. Well, minus the views of the Pacific Ocean.

Kids said it was the best salmon they ever tasted.

Fried fish taco is also a winner and clearly beats the fried fish and salmon tacos.

Stop 2: Bagel Nosh

Enjoyed these in the sukkah after we got back home.

Clear winner is the double dip chocolate cake donuts, which are excellent! But there's nothing like the old crumb ring donuts from LA's Cafe Elite, which were the king of kosher cake donuts.

Blueberry donuts and cronuts were sold out.

Stop 3: Jackson.
Party like it's 1928.

Celebrated my paternal grandfather's 95th birthday, may he live and be well until 120 and beyond. Caught up with lots of cousins that came in from near and far.

Or enjoy some basketball:

Stop 4: Taquito

As mentioned, a little tricky to find. But nice big sukkah and good customer service for customizing some menu items.

Short rib nachos are pretty good.
Assorted taquitos are excellent.
Chicken bites are OK.
Talia loved the steak sandwich.
Assorted Tacos were also pretty good. But they won't be confused for LA's Lenny's Casita.
Churros were great.

I'm shepping nachas. I've been buying from him since he was using a little consumer grade plug-in deep fryer out of his basement apartment. Must be at least 10 years

Was also the first person in Lakewood who I discussed sous vide with. Circa 2013. I thought I was the only one

Stop 5: Mike's Chicken.

Pity no sukkah, we enjoyed these reheated back home.

Original crunchers, southern fried, and hot poppers are excellent. Didn't care for Bourbon or pretzel bites.

Triple onion buffalo baguette is fantastic.

Corn dogs really need a better hot dog inside, definitely skip these.

Stop 6: Returned the car to Avis and took advantage of the new AA Exec credit there. Caught the bus to new Term A. Nodded to a fellow frum pax in the Clear PreCheck line who clearly recognized me and wanted to say something, but didn't have the opp. Enjoyed the new UA Club in the terminal for a few minutes before hustling to catch the flight home.

Can't help but think of this when I see the Jets.

Stop 7: CLE based Captain comes over to thank me for my loyalty and being GS. Chatted for a few minutes with me and the kids. First time that's happened to me in ~7 years of being GS. Everyone around us is now wondering who we are (including my father who asked what in the world was going on.

Once again, I note that you shouldn't give your son a middle name that starts with A:
