pricing like entree? meaning significantly cheaper than Loft or Salt?

wow
Apps were like $24-$28, steaks were like $70-75. Didn't check the big fat steaks.

Tried Lamp Post. It looks like they took over a place (they did- the former Lamp Post Inn) rather than designed it. First impression: Ambiance was definitely better at some of the other upscale steakhouses and noise level was pretty noticeable, though some of the other places can get pretty noisy as well.

We weren’t very hungry so decided to go for 4 appetizers rather than a couple of mains. I must say they were outstanding. I’m not usually big on trying new stuff but every one of the appetizers was something special. The South African style Roast beef was thin sliced and delectable. The flat iron skewers were flavorful and done just perfect with really good gnocchi and mushrooms. The  tongue cigars were filled with pulled tongue done to perfection, and the Korean Chicken was indeed hot and perfect consistency, tenderness, and mouthfeel. The alcoholic Pina colada was perfectly blended and nicely presented. Ended up being just under $200 including tips. Service was good with the waitress helpfully suggesting various choices she thought we would like.

(Wait staff was dressed appropriately for a frum Lakewood clientele. We tried a high end eatery in Deal a while back just after opening and the maitre d’s were dressed in uniforms that were highly inappropriate for a frum clientele.  We have never returned. Kosher is more than about the food.)

At most of the restaurants I’ve gone to the appetizers are either really skimpy, hit or miss, or both. 4 appetizers all top notch is impressive, and makes me want to go back and try other dishes, even if the ambiance can be bested by some of the other steakhouses. All in all best $200 I’ve spent in a while.

Anyone know, who in the Lakewood area, or a pharmacy that delivers to Lakewood, has Mounjaro (or Zepbound) in stock?

Costco pharmacy on Rt 70 (Brick) has Zepbound.  You don't need a Costco membership to use the pharmacy.
If you have commercial insurance and they don't cover it (most don't), make sure to sign up for the discount card on the zepbound website for a 50% discount.

Receipts pretty faded but here you go. The bread bowl with really good olive dip was substantial and complimentary. We added an additional tip afterwards because the waitress deserved it hence the just under $200. It wasn’t cheap but definitely worth it as far as I’m concerned. I’ve paid well over $200 before and felt that I got less value. If the goal is to feel stuffed a laffa shawarma or two at kipshuto will do it, for far less $.

Yup. We usually only do apps. Main is usually steak and nothing special, and we're not big eaters. We go to a restaurant for the ambiance and for something different, not a regular steak.

Would do apps more often but I find they vary greatly in size and don’t want to risk spending so much and still leaving a bit hungry.

And sometimes the taste can be something you don't like. But I'm fine with that risk (I don't order that much so if they're reasonably priced, in fine with it).

We weren’t very hungry to begin with but I went with the understanding that if we weren’t full we would order desserts or a main. One time I actually seared a 24 oz thick steak at home with wine marinade on the cast iron to medium rare (135 on the meat thermometer). Came out every bit as good as we’ve had in steakhouses. After enjoying that we went to Tomahawk and tried our luck with apps.

How’s the new Chinese place in Jackson, Teyavon? Worth checking out, or more of the same?

ועל כל פשעים תכסה ריביות נמוכות

As WB says, "It's when the tide goes out, you see who's swimming naked"

Businesses need to deliver real value and a great customer experience to survive in the long run.

It might be sad, but it's capitalism, and the alternative is the USSR.
