R Isaacson says ....... He claims the primary reason he isn't approved by them is politics.......... He claims to have approval of many local vaadim.

I was surprised he responded. I know the rabbanim in Teaneck are ok with it by Rita's. cRc says it's recommended on a case by case basis.

Rita's has very little supervision needed. A respected person in kashrus once told me he would eat at any Rita's

I spoke to rabbi Isaacson on shabbos I asked him if I only eat CY what can I get in the store he said only black coffee and ices he said that the store happened to be near Lakewood but not "for Lakewood" he said the reason he/his father certifies them is because they certify the plant in north Carilino where the mix is coming from he said he certifies 75 stores across the east cost one last point he  said is that everything coming into there stores are kosher but CS NOT CY

did you mean to say “wouldn’t”? Because a respected person in kashrus told me that if Rita’s serves Chalav Stam what is stopping them from giving it to you even if you order Chalav yisroel? And because of that he wouldn’t eat in Rita’s.

He was referring to getting ices not the CY ice cream that are in specific stores.

Yes, that's what he meant that local vaadim rely on him. Many local stores are under the local vaad using mix certified by him.
