Citi AA Miles
« on: October 26, 2018, 04:19:56 PM »
I just opened a credit card and got 55k miles.  The card is in my name but I wanted to get the miles to go into my husbands account.  Is there any way to do that?

:(.  Any of the other programs convert to AA?  Such as Amex, Chase, etc? Will be a waste if I have 2 accounts with 55-75k but cant't use for what I want! (

you can transfer miles between AA accounts, but they rip you off with a $12.50 charge per 1k miles ($687.50 in your case) plus a $15 processing fee

Not worth it of course....unless you need a small amount to make a reward threshold

You can open the Barclays aviator card for another 60k points after the first purchase.

If you got the aa personal or business platinum card you should be able to call up and request to be matched to the 75k offer... they will match up to 20k more. Say you saw the offer a little bit ago on citis website and it was for 4 or 5k of spend.
