Any time there's any casualty, there's always something that we need to take out from it. Sometimes it's hard to see the message, other times it is easier.

No we don't have to judge the actions of victims to determine if they deserved their fate or not. We are actually commanded not to do such things.

I don't think I understand who Hashem decides to kill and why they die. I don't think my G-d woke up on shabbos day and said. Ok a gay bris is not good, I will kill a 97 year old woman and 10 others, so people know it's not ok.
