Doesn't seem like it, as a starting point look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traffic_violations_reciprocity#Canada and then click thru.

Ohio is the worst?

(I'm just curious where in OH did you get it? Was it a speeding ticket?)

I had a friend that had a ticket in Ohio he went to court and plea bargained... I think they made it for a non moving violation.

On the 80 near exit 170 . The town is called newtonfalls. It was a speeding ticket. I won't be able to go to court.  Is it worth it to send a lawyer -( to plea bargain for me)?

A lawyer will cost you a few hundred buck... Depends how much you dont want the points.
I usually suggest to go to court yourself instead of a lawyer, cuz you could usually get what the lawyer gets... But in your case you cant make it to court...

i think OH is the most expensive. - i have an Ohio license and got a speeding ticket on the I-80 (near Oberlin) going 87 in a 70 MPH and the ticket was $170.!! but the cop said (and i confirmed with court on phone) that since i have an OH license there are no points if on the turnpike.

lesson: never get a ticket in OH - not worth it!

if you think that is bad you definitely don't want to get pulled over in vegas. over $200 for less than ten over the limit!!

All I'll say is I've been driving in OH for 10 years and I've yet to get pulled over for a speeding ticket.  And I typically drive about 10 over.

And calling a $170 ticket expensive?  I got a ticket in LA that was much more than that and I was only doing about 12 over I think.   I think a red-light ticket in LA is $400 or so.  In CLE it's $100.
