- Make sure your tzitzis are not tucked in.
- Wear your black hat, but first sit on it and roll it through a bunch of dips and salads first.

- Do not put on a t-shirt that says, "I already put on tefillin" (or bentched lulav, etc.). It won't help.

Does wearing a yechi yarmulke help if I am clean shaven?

There was a chabad yeshiva next to mine. On shabbos they went to the mikva with a towel around their neck like a scarf. I'm assuming to avoid carrying.

B"H I had the wonderful opportunity to help someone put in teffilelin today. A coach bus stopped outside my yeshiva about 20 minutes before shkiah and ask a friend if he had teffilin, he in turn asked me and I brought mine out. It seems he was driving a group of girls around all day and didn't have a chance to put on before be left (or maybe he left before sunrise, not sure. He was speaking blazing fast Hebrew I didn't catch everything he was saying).

How about tefilin on shabbos?
when I was a Bucher in camp in EY I saw someone running into the commercial freezer shabbos after shkia with tefilin.....

With complete confidence, it is not unheard of to find a jew wearing a yarmulke who has not put on teffilin. Is it so difficult to say "thank you very much, I already put on teffilin today"?

True but it's not your job to make sure that someone else gets less suffering in the next world.

ב''ה we have a very happy ending to our Unbelievable opportunity we were given To put on tefillin For my father's doctor who hasn't worn tefillin in 61 years He called us yesterday and said That he is retiring now And he wants to use this opportunity to start putting on tefillin every single day if we can help him get a pair of tefillin. There is always hope For every single Jew!!!
