And then the need to be on the run to get your package, that takes away from the symbolic two day shipping of a prime membership, that within two days you get what you need from the comfort of your home without the need to go out and find parking and pay the meter and then retrieve your package!
   For the same price I can go to the grocery store or pharmacy...

I can see this being useful once in a while, and more so for people who frequent those stores already.

Anyone know if you can get orders faster this way?

To me it's the same as an Amazon locker at 7/11, for those that used that would be using this now as well. But for someone like myself I order online so I don't have to be busy collecting my packages, hence; don't see myself using the new rite aid service!
   On the other hand the reason why I would use this new service or rather many people might find this new option helpful...

Lol, so they agreed on the chance that it will boost there sales!
 
   The only real solid reason I can think of why someone ordering to a 711 locker or to a CVS store is if I'm traveling in that state or visiting and I need some place to order my packages to,  that is the perfect place and I don't have to rely on anyone and I can be sure that it's going to be delivered without making some people crazy that I'm having a package delivered in my name.

It will definitely boost their sales, I have a friend who works for happy returns, where pretty much you can return some items to a retail store and they return it to the seller. A lot of those retail stores that are taking in those returns are reporting an increase in sales because of more foot traffic now.

My kids who live in apartment buildings often have their stuff shipped to me because it's not secure for their package to sit in the hallway waiting for them to get home from work.  And then my kids are forced to come to me for Shabbos to pick it up.      So Rite Aid or 7-11 may be easier for them.
