told them i have no use for them and they are expiring.... pretty straight forward. I think it just depends on the how nice or lazy the rep is feeling.

And we normally don't do this but let me go out of our way of standard process and make a one time exception to delete these promotional credit on your account and due to the circumstances, I’ll be more than willing to issue the promotional credit however, I have a better idea. I’ll be happy to issue a gift card instead. For promotional credit balance, you’re only able to use it towards items sold and shipped by Amazon, while for gift cards, it may also be used towards items fulfilled by our sellers.
