I have the link for 50,000, if anyone want's it. I never heard of Citi doing matches, but it doesn't hurt to try.

My link doesn't show any details, but that's because its the actual application page. I might well be targeted. It did say that its for Silver members.

I really don't want to take away any referral bonuses from Dan though.

I already had an aa and still got another one :)

I had AA Platinum MasterCard that I downgraded a year or two ago to Bronze. I want to apply for the 75K AA Visa and Amex offers now... do I need to cancel the bronze MC first, or can I leave it open?

Is silver status really worth anything with Hilton? My understanding is that gold with Hilton gets you pretty much the same upgrades as diamond. Silver does not. That's pretty much why I had my wife get an Amex Hilton and throw 20k spend/yr on it for the gold.

AFAIK, you can't get gold with spending on the Citi Hilton visa....

Silver gets you discount VIP awards if nothing else.
Gold is no great shakes either.
