Correct, checken is also not allowed.
That being said, I have flown to Switzerland dozens of times, and usually came with frozen chicken and meat, Never had an issue.

will be in the alps for a few nights and would love to bring a few frozen meals from home, but the last thing i want is to get into trouble in a country i sso love visiting

I know personally those who got caught, but the worst thing that can happen is that they will consficate the meat. They would only fine Swiss citizens, but not tourists. Be aware, Switzerland has a limit of 1 kg per person for importing meat (legal, when the origin is from other EU countries). Families in Switzerland fill up their vans and drive across the border to Germany or France to stock up on meat, because meat in Switzerland is the most expensive in the world, as Switzerland has very high tarrifs on imported meat to protect the Swiss farming industry.

Well, even if shechita would be permitted in Switzerland, it would not drive the prices down much, as the cost of labor in Switzerland is astronomical compared to doing the shechita across the border in France. Plus the rabonim in Switzerland strictly control the kosher butchery. Somebody once making his own butchery,  importing kosher meat from Poland, and the Swiss rabonim declared it as treif as it is shechutei chutz.

No, I meant that they should make an exception for tariffs on kosher meat, since you can't produce kosher meat in Switzerland anyways.

I was scared of being fined or worse (like in the US) but if all were are talking about is confiscating.. i guess its worth the try
Is it all type of cooked food or just meat meaning can i  bring vegetable soup fish and other side dishes?

just saw this. Because Switzerland doesn't produce enough meat for it's inhabitants, they actually auction import rights to the highest bidding registered importers. This is how legal kosher meat is imported.

Last year, the ghoishe owner of the hotel gave permission to keep it open on condition that the Minjan would only be for guests. The cost of cleaning up was too expensive

the reason i ditn right Kempinski st moritz is because the question was after tisha baav and if i am not mistaken once there is a minyan in the village outsiders are not welcome

It gets crowded and outsiders can maybe sometimes be discouraged from attending, but I don't think ever turned away

In any case the St Moritz minyan by the ice rink is ~10 min walk from the Kempinski and has many different minyanim
