PH Zurich is just 1 mile from Chabad of Zurich.

"1. There are no kosher hotels in Zurich!

2. Zurich does NOT have an Eiruv

3. There is NO kosher restaurant open for Shabbat meals!

4. Chabad does not have any sleeping accomodations in it's facilities. Following you will find a list of Hotels in the area. We would be however very happy to help organise Shabbat meals with local families for tourist and guest if possible. Please call us."

I'm going to be in Zurich for 3 days in the summer with two friends- Can anyone recommend where we should go what we should do and HOW we should get there?
We don't have that much time!! Any ideas would be great!

i recommend learning how to drive stick, its a great skill to have especially if you travel a lot

As always thanks in advance for your help Chuchem.
Flight arriving at 9:30 PM. Will there be anywhere open to get dinner? Can I have it delivered to the hotel? What restaurant would you recommend?
The Park Hyatt wouldn't provide kosher breakfast, but they did give me 2,500 points for my troubles. Is there anywhere to get breakfast? How early do places open?
I have an 8:20 PM flight. What time would you say I need to leave Lucerne by? Anywhere convenient to get dinner on the way to the airport. How long do I need in Lucerne if I want to do the boat ride and the gondola (and as such what time do I need to leave Zurich to Lucerne)?

I understand the closest kosher food would be in Davos. The following link describes a kosher hotel and takeout: www.levinarosa.com (open during Aug 2011). Is there anything else? Perhaps a grocery where one can get kosher meats, etc?

Loeffler bakery in St Moritz has some kosher products and kosher bread every day. They also sell some kosher meat. There is a minjan in "Alot" apartment building every day. Apartment 304. Shachris 08:00, minche 20:30 followed by mariv. You can order until wednesday evening take out food for shabbes from a Oineg Shabbes in Zuerich, he delivers friday morning. There is a kosher hotel in maloja, run by israeli group tour plus, you can go there for meals and pay for them. So its not that bad
If you are coming from the U.S.A just be ready for your Dollar being valued at 0.73 Franks, everything will be very expensive for you
