That number of mass shootings is not what most people think it is, it's specifically designed to sound like on average once a day someone goes into a public area and starts shooting random people. many of those "mass shootings" include gang violence and domestic violence.

Gang violence between rival gangs is very different than someone shooting random people.

Gang violence is a huge issue, but it won't be remotely solved by taking away the guns.
