Anybody been to Jiminy Peak?
What are the accommodations like? Is there a lot to do there? We're planning a family trip there for the end of this week so any info on deals and things to do is greatly appreciated?

Once went extreme mountain biking down jiminy peak in the summer... almost killed myself. twice. Wouldn't recommend for kids (or adults for that matter).

Unfortunately, can't speak to the accommodations because we just made a day trip...

can someone please help me out I am looking for a nice hotel in Jiminy peek don't wont to spend to much does any one know of a nice place there ?

Nice hotel that includes many activities, there is usually minyin in the summer.
Both my brothers where there in the past and they both loved it.

I stayed in the wyndham bentley brook back when it was still run by fairfield it was very nice then. Theres plenty to do there including bobsledding on a track and ziplining. You can also check out mt greylock and its ~1 hr from albany which you can do on the way back down to new york

was there last week. very nice. jiminy peak resort has hotel rooms which are nice (i think they are all suites) as well as having villas which i didn't stay in so can't comment. there is a minyan on premises as well as a pizza/falafel shop run by the local chabad.

Thanks for all u info I am now in jiminy peak head a really good and fun day kid loved it the kosher food is good staying In the country in in vrey nice for the price u pay

Lots and lots of jews go there. Price is real good and theres lots of fun for the entire family. between the climbing, alpine slides, and rides, they've got everyone covered....

I think its a good 2-3 day family trip, not more.

Personally I would say max two days, but yes it was very nice. If Albany interests you at all you can hang out there for a day. I think it's about 45 min away.

if you are driving from nyc there are some beautiful parks to stop on the way. that can take up a day

i remember going there as a kid. went horseback riding and alpine sliding. i got thrown off the horse cuz it got sprayed by a nearby sprinkler and my brother flew off the alpine track and sliced his thigh open. but overall it was a fun trip!
