I have had a lot of trouble finding gas gift cards in supermarkets or anywhere else for that matter.

Where do u live? Do u have a "shoprite" in your area?

I'm noy sure if it helps, but I use the Chase BP card, with 5% case back on BP gas, with no yearly fees.
Where I live, in Brooklyn, the gas stations seem to all have the same price regardless of cash or cc.

I don't remember seeing one in Brooklyn. Could be wrong.

Haven't seen a gas station in NYC with different prices cash/credit for a long time. I vaguely recall them making a law against charging more for using credit, but don't quote me on that

Just a quick note for the lkwd people -- if u specifically want valero gas,  the station on lex and 88 charges more for cc but the one on rt 9 south bordering howell doesn't charge more.

Nothing special. If someone has a valero gas card or gift card then they would be using valero. I was advising that not all valeros charge more for cc. In fact in this case its the same brand in the same town and one does and one doesn't .

same with BP. The one on the corner of rt 9 and chestnut charges more for cc but the new one on madison right by the lake charges the same price, albeit a little more then the others cash price.

They don't charge more fore cc, they give a cash discount.

Loophole.
Although if that's the case then the real price is the higher one which means that they shouldn't be allowed to advertise only the cash price.
