Looking for some gift ideas for a bas mitzvah- girl is from ultra orthodox open minded family- does NOT need to be Jewish themed - open to ideas though. Looking to spend between $20-$200
I'll get the list of items my daughter got last night.
I've stopped buying bar/bat mitzvah presents and now buy gift cards to:https://www.tisbest.org/
Or you can give away a gift card as a wedding or Bar Mitzvah gift.
My parents love giving out the book of our heritage by eliyahu kitov. Some essential knowledge about the full Jewish year.
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
I don't see how this is much different than someone giving you a card that says "In honor or your bar/bat mitzvah, I gave a donation to "x" charity" that kinda sucks as a kid when you're just not getting a gift from that person. I could see giving a gift and this also but just doing this in lieu of a gift seems kind of mean to the kid.
Depending on the parents, an MMR shot.
Any new ideas for a gift in the $50 price range? possibly something crafty rather than a book
