has anyone else had an issue with gift card fraud? just logged into my GC account to find that a $500 card now has $14 left on it. Ecard I bought here was used in Okinawa Japan in May. Filed complaint, was told 3 - 6 weeks for investigation, have trip coming up in 2 weeks. If someone else ahs ahd this problem, how long did it take to resolve? Does it matter if you bought card from someone else? Thank you

Marriott GC center replied and said so sorry this happened, but it is up to you to secure cards.

Card was registered to my GC account the day it was issued yet they let someone else use it and have so far refused to say if they know who used it. No other cads in my account have been touched

Our generous offer to you for being platinum for 10+ years is 50k points.

Seller is active here, responded to me with offer of another GC of equal monetary value from different company, but it is not of value to me.

Seller received card from prizeout.com and claims it was sent to me the day it was received.

Feedback from others on best way to address situation is appreciated as I value the community wisdom here.

that's worth $350 for a loss of a $500 gift card. Not that bad.

Not sure how long the seller bears responsibility. How long after the sale did the fraud take place?
