Same here, I suggested an au.. but was told I won't be able to activate it before the primary regardless..

Got declined, Submitted for recon. was told it might incur another hard inquiry.
anyone with DP on capital one recon.? do they pull your credit again? do they easily approve?

Call and ask for a product change. All they can do is say no.
