I've had it for over 3 years and haven't seen any benefit from it yet. I can't say what will happen in a year from now, but there are always post purchase upgrade options if things change.
Presumably price will increase as the features improve.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

There's a limit to what the market can bear. I daresay they're already there.

I agree I paid 3k for it 3 years ago if I had invested that into TSLA instead I would have enough for another car by now

I'm assuming Tesla will be able to get more $ by bundling insurance with FSD on a subscription.

E.g., $3-400/month for insurance and FSD.

But they will run into regulatory challenges implementing such a program in a number of states.

Weird, that's included for free in the US.
Yes, that's a must.
I think I made a mistake. I think it's Enhanced AutoPilot that's for 19,000. That's not the same as autopilot, right?

Is this about basic autopilot or EAP (w is available in israel)?

They are not the same. It is closer to FSD now, but it does not have the future features. No longer avAilable in the US.

EAP is pretty much everything Tesla offers today and hasn't been sold in the US for a while now. I just can't see spending more than that on FSD, given Tesla's slow progress and broken promises over the past several years about FSD and the FSD timeline.

Yup, hence why I paid 4k for it as opposed to 10k for FSD ;)  Though even the 4k is technically a bit much for what essentially is lane changes on the highway, autopark and summon (the latter 2 mostly gimmicks)

I just saw that I already have a VIN assigned to me. I specifically asked to be pushed off. Does having a VIN mean anything? Or it can it still be pushed off? I’m not getting any response from the emails I sent them about delaying delivery
Also, this is now on my dashboard. Do I accept if I don’t want the delivery yet?

You can push off the car and they'll release it to someone else. You can only do this once.

If you don't want the car yet, you should definitely take your time before responding.

If you can, I'd wait because no one knows whether the credit will be retroactive (or if it will happen) until it is signed.

CBO estimate should come out by tomorrow, so we'll have more clarity after that on the chances and if any changes need to be made.

Still hoping against hope for the full 12.5 to be changed to any US made vehicle

No one knows, but I think it's more likely that the union 'bonus' is removed. Pressure will be to reduce costs, and EV bill can definitely come back as costing significantly more than $32bn in the CBO estimate.

I'm assuming the same - hence "against hope"

I'm not sure, but it sound like they're giving you the option to release the vehicle assigned to you, and then they will assign a new one to you some time after 12/15.

They're likely trying to deliver as many vehicles as they possibly can this quarter. They always have an end of quarter delivery rush

They also often assign cars and don't follow through.
