I just called them to push it off but they said the latest they can push it off thill is Dec 15. If I don’t take it after they find me a vehicle then, they will cancel

Just got calls, emails, and texts from Tesla in Princeton saying my will be ready on Tuesday and if i don't pick it up by Dec 4, they will release my car and put me on a list for the next car.
They said "pickup must be within 3 days of car arriving at center as per your agreement".
any advice on next steps?

Tell them you were given an ETA of February and don't have the funds for it now.

If you're waiting for a potential federal tax credit, they aren't gonna hold your car for months...

Doesn't seem like theyre threatening to cancel your order, just make you wait longer for a car.

The original estimates that were given then were for February.

For the model 3 and Y, I ordered the 3 Long Range. it was earlier. not this early though.

One thing to keep in mind. Back in line likely means much quicker than Oct 2022. Can be this year.

Delivery dates have been totally schizophrenic.  Ordered 9/15 with a Feb 2022 delivery date, moved to September 2022, then to December 2021, now back to Feb 2022.

Typical. Tesla service would make Spirit blush, which is a shame as the hard product is amazing.
