Didn’t get that email but I pushed off delivery once already and was issued a new VIN last week. If I decline delivery again it will be canceled. Made appointment to pick up next week.

Check out comma.ai
Installed in my car last week. Pretty impressed.
I have driven many miles in Teslas so I am familiar with the Tesla self-drive (not the FSD). This is pretty good in comparison. half a step lower.

Got the same email now.
When I ordered, I spoke to the rep explaining that I have a lease till the summer and he assured me that I can push it off till then with no problem.
Seems Tesla is not super into honoring promises.
Not sure if this bodes well for a company that has free reign to update the software on the $50k software platform car you bought.

Ridiculous that they can keep changing their estimate but you can’t change when you’re ready.

September is usually a placeholder. They'll probably update it in the next few days.

Very cool!
I don't own one myself but they say there are some advantages over Tesla's AP. What car are you using it with?

Could someone explain this to me
https://www.tesmanian.com/blogs/tesmanian-blog/tesla-has-published-a-patent-for-global-headlamps-to-make-them-customizable-to-all-countries-requirements
In typical Tesla fashion, they're trying to simplify the manufacturing process. By having 1 product that can be used in all versions of the car they reduce the number of parts they need to make.

They do this with everything, for example using mass produced parts from the Model 3 and Y for the smaller productions of S and X.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

First service wasn't too bad, no loaner car and Uber unlimited actually worked out.
