ah, didn't recall discussing here, didn't mean to rehash. But as a side point this is also from my understanding a realtively "newish" problem that people "discovered" but each should definitely follow their own LOR, but when asking them I would specify that you aren't receiving the check directly, it's going directly to Tesla.

I wouldn't call it ignorance... Reminds me of making siyums every night for camps during the 9 days which was done by camps hotels etc for 30 years 40 years? All of a sudden it's a problem...

Poor comparison. There were always those who didn't like it. Camps have other reasons but hotels are very shvach. This is discussed in so many poskim and was never a new thing.

Why not? People were simply unaware that there may be an issue.

There were many big people that ate at siyumim constantly (hotels). Just recently became a thing to be machmir on it.

Just got my Tesla yesterday and boy did did my wife and I go through hell last night. Long story short. Tesla died in middle of the road 1 mile away from super charger despite showing more battery left. Waited forever in the freezing cold for a tow to the super charger.

When I got there the car was already 100% dead, could not be charged, boosted, or anything. It’s still sitting in the parking lot with the window open since last night, waiting for someone to tow it to Princeton.

A couple Tesla employees said they saw that there’s an electrical issue with my vehicle but who knows. This experience sucked. I felt completely helpless with a car that needs electricity to do literally anything.

I would certainly try. They used to have a 7 day return policy, not sure what it is now.

I was told there’s no return policy. Still waiting for the issue to be diagnosed, and I won’t be given any options before that. If it’s fixable they will fix it, but I definitely don’t want to be driving a “fixed” brand new car.
