lol try getting spare parts or going to 3rd party repairs
Agreed it's an issue, but I don't believe it's done specifically against the consumer.

ask rich rebuilds that or anyone that needs a specific part and doesn't want to wait who knows how long until they get an appointment or get blocked from supercharging if you have a salvage title

What a dumb article with a dumber headline.
What it really comes down to is what price per kWh does it need to be below in order to be worthwhile?

The biggest issue with this article is conflating on-peak supercharging with the average cost to charge. Even so, if you charged 100% of the time from a supercharger on-peak, it would still be around 30% cheaper than gas. The reality is most people only use superchargers on long trips, and charge at home for way cheaper the rest of the time. This doesn't do much to change the economics of EV charging, it's still much cheaper than gas.

BH picked up my new M3, So far so good. I ordered it before the September 15th deadline to receive the NJ 5K rebate. I don't regret not getting the model Y because I would not have received the $5K rebate, however, I am thinking now of ordering the 7 seater model Y. I know there are no prophets on this group, but do you think it's still a good idea? The prices increased so much in the past year, will they increase even more? decrease? If I order now, it will be ready in about a year, Will I be able to sell the M3 for a decent price and upgreat to the MY? What do you think? Thank you

Demand is increasing, the question is if the car market will cool down in the next year and how much Giga Texas will reduce wait times and then eventually prices. With the current inflation, odds of prices being dramatically reduced are even lower.

Beware, the back row of the 7 seater MY is pretty small, but FWIU it can be good for small children.

All that being said, you're only risking $250 and the chances of not being able to flip it for cost are extremely low.

S&P Dow Jones Indices has removed electric carmaker Tesla Inc from its widely-followed S&P 500 ESG Index, citing issues including racial discrimination claims and crashes linked to its autopilot vehicles, a move that prompted critical tweets from Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

What does zero emissions have to do with "racial discrimination"?

If prices drop I’d assume they’d honor the lower price, no?
