Yes, it can be bad. 900k vehicles potentially having a defect that can cause high severity accidents is bad.may require tesla to in the short term limit where autopilot can be use as well as how it ensures drivers are attentive.
Didn't they already issue a temporary fix for the emergency vehicle issue?
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

1. Even if they fix it they still could be liable. And recall could allow lemon law suits in theory.
2. I think the investigation is even after the fix but I could be wrong.
3. Even when issue is fixed part of the issue based on my understanding is how tesla was checking for attentiveness and disengaging. It’s not all about the “failure to identify e vehicles”

Wouldn't they customer need 3 repair attempts followed by a notice to the manufacturer for a lemon law suit?
Points 2&3 you are correct. Which is funny with Tesla because they can issue a fix to all affected vehicles, and a few weeks or months later they will get a recall notification.

I said theoretically. Depends on state, and yes requirements still need to be met. But recall helps odds especially if tesla doesnt address it right away.

Also, the impacted crashes can probably sue tesla even if they waived away rights by using autopilot.

There are no heimish shops that are Tesla certified. Allstate is in the process. The only certified shop in the area is countyline auto body.

Any sense of where prices are headed on Model 3? Is there likely to be more increases or competition is heating up?
This didn’t age well

I know there are no prophets on this group but maybe someone has some insights. The basic model 3 was not part of the past few price increases. Does that mean the standard model 3 is at its peak? I'm asking because i would like to sell my recently purchased standard M3 and upgrade to a model Y. I put in a order for the model y a few weeks ago so I'm locked in to the old price. But I was hoping the M3 goes up as well so when i am ready to sell (when the MY will be resdy - in around a year) i should be able to get a good price

Part of musks strategy is to keep it affordable, that might be the reason he is not touching the lowest model

That hasn't stopped him until now. His goal is for it to be available to everyone. If it's not available to everyone due to supply constraints, there is no need to keep prices low. When supply outpaces demand they can begin lowering prices to make it more affordable.

Is there a major real life difference in range between M3 base and M3 LR? Anyone have personal experience with both?

With a stated increase of nearly 33%, it’s hard to believe the real world increase is negligible.
