Yes

Tesla repairs are significantly more expensive. Most insurers charge high collision rates for tesla (and other EVs).

Liability is comparable and comprehensive is generally lower
My Ioniq EV has the same rate as the car it replaced (cheap Ford). Also full coverage. Possibly, because there are hybrids in the same family, as opposed to the new Ioniq 5 and 6.

I took Delivery on March 9th in NJ. I ordered one on March 1st and got the email March 2nd. I responded with my License and did not get a response. On delivery the rep at Tesla confirmed they had received it and already applied the 4k credit to my account, hope this helps.

They're not willing to deliver my vehicle to me. They're making me travel 50 minutes to a dealer (not even the one closest to me). They said they won't pick me up or pay for Uber. Is that normal?
If you are trying to get my attention/assistance and I'm not responding, please feel free to PM me. :)

Yes, completely normal. They only deliver if you are a certain distance from a delivery site. And why should they pick you up or pay for your Uber? Not sure how many car companies would do that.

I am scheduled to pick mine up in Princeton on Wednesday. It also about an hour drive for me.

I settled on NJM for insurance. They are significantly cheaper than my current insurer, Liberty Mutual, which I have been with since 2009. A few years ago Liberty Mutual was willing to match rates from Geico, they did that on one of my previously policies. This time around they pretty much laughed at me for asking.

I guess I was just disappointed cuz they call it delivery and the Jewish leasing companies usually deliver the car or pick you up

For the right price you can lease thru the Jewish places and they will bring the car to you

I purchased a Toyota, not only they didn't bring me the car or pay me an Uber, they even forced me to come down in person to pickup the plates (talk about saving the environment, making me drive an hour to pick up an envelope as it could have mailed to me)

Anyone have experience using Comma.ai’s Open Pilot? How does it compare to Teslas self driving?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Ordered the car for a relative today at 1pm, got a message just now car is available for pick up tomorrow at 11am. I noticed you can edit the the down payment numbers at the finance section in the app I put down $0 DAS and total due per month comes to $404 for the base 3.
