Ford EVs getting access to Tesla superchargers very soon!!

When we announced @Ford EVs would get access to @Tesla Superchargers, I said we'd send customers a Fast Charging Adapter. I'm pleased to confirm that eligible #MustangMachE & #F150Lightning owners in the U.S. + Canada can reserve a complimentary adapter starting soon.

Looking for input:

I’ve been driving an suv for about 12 years now (Honda pilot/pathfinder). Thinking strong about finally jumping to a Tesla,  Model Y.

2 concerns: Comfort, reading it’s extremely firm and bumpy
And also the ground clearance vs a traditional suv.

Anyone that can share from experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
(I actually rented a Models S plaid and was extremely disappointed with the comfort on city roads, is the Y different?)

I would suggest you test drive one

or rent one from hertz

I got the Y going from passport. I like the car, definitely no comparison to the comforts of a lincoln. But I dont think it is so far off from the passport. The drive takes a bit to get used to .

Anyone else driving fsd 12.3?
I’m really impressed at how smooth and natural it drives now. Feels human like.

My warranty is expiring on 4/1 any inputs if it’s worth taking out the extended warranty for 2k?
Or is there any 3rd party that offers a warranty?

Yes.

My only concern is that it’s too lenient for NYC driving. Will leave space in bumper to bumper traffic which people abuse to cut you off. I’ll never get to my destination in a robotaxi in NYC if it stays that way…

Otherwise it’s unbelievably good.

I just got my vin for my early reservation cybertruck but not sure I can afford the payments.

Do you think I can cover most of the $1,600 monthly payment by renting on Turo? Is there another place I can rent it out?  I know Tesla has a 1 year restriction on selling it, but is there a market for a "rent to buy"?

It turns my 15 minute drive to work to 20 minuts. Still accelerates and brakes way to much. I much prefer driving myself. This is all street driving.

I also still prefer manual driving as it stands now, or a combination of FSD+me juicing the accelerator often. But the progress is astounding and at this rate things should get better fast.
