Awesome!
$30K if you buy the in-store stripped down version, but probably worth getting the $32.5K.

Stripped down in what way?

I just got myself a good lease deal (effective $135/month everything rolled in after EV rebate) on the 2020 Hyundai Ioniq electric. I'm very impressed with it. Almost the same MSRP as the Model 3, but Teslas lease horribly. Hyundai does throw in a lot of features at the base model, and it definitely has the effortless drive of an EV.

1 sec, are you really comparing a Tesla 3 with Hyundai Ioniq ???

Lol. When it comes to leasing, they are in a different price range. The Hyundai is definitely very good value.

It was a secondary offence in OH.
The bigger miracle is that I've avoided primary offences in the car so far, b"ah.

It was secondary only in OH.
Meaning that they won't ticket for it unless they were already ticketing for a different infraction?

That's assuming you don't do a lot of distance driving. I bought the model 3 and as much as liked it the range was a real issue so I returned it.

Did you get extended range? How long was it IRL? Is it that much less than a tank of gas or does charging just take longer or not enough stations?

I got the standard range. If you charge to the recommended 90% and drive faster than 55 mph would be lucky to get 180 miles on a single charge. On my car I get over 500 miles per tank... Also, If you are like me who relies on hotels destination chargers, what happens when you get to the hotel on a almost empty battery and the chargers are taken?  As fun as the car is to drive it is very impractical for long distance driving. Supper chargers take a lot longer than filling up a tank, they are not everywhere, and can be at times all taken.  Also, keep in mind electric is not free, charging at home isn't cheap at least here in CA. If you do city driving and have a garage it's a no brainier..

Why didn't you get extended range if you needed it?
Also, there's nothing wrong charging to 100% the day of a trip. The problem is letting it sit full on 100%.

I wasn't ready to spend an additional 9k. I really liked the car so I tried to make it work :) Truth is even the longer range wouldn't be enough for me.

Does Tesla not sell the long range RWD in stores anymore?
